Do you have what it takes to run a mega land based casino? You can try your luck with Viña del Mar casino in Chile as the operating license is up for grabs and top operators are already eyeing to acquire the said license.
Amongst the top operators bidding for the license acquisition are Enjoy and Sun Dreams of which both of them already submitted their bid to operate the casino.
This casino is one of the biggest in the region. In fact, from just January to August, the casino generated over $58 million. Only one other casino managed to generate more revenue, the Sun Monticallo which generated over $75 million. The casino is currently being managed by Enjoy.
The same Enjoy has submitted one bid while Sun Dreams has submitted two bids, coming from different companies respectively.
Built after 2005, Viña del Mar was one of the 18 casinos which where built after the government decided to allow the construction of 18 further casinos. Viña del Mar has since then became one of the most popular casino.
The head of the Chilean Gaming Control Board, in a press release stated that the casino in it's self is a very luxurious and attractive casino and was sure that a lot of offers are going to be received for the operation of it. All the offers will be reviewed accordingly within 120 days. All of the evaluation reports will then be taken to the Supervisory Council of the SJC which will be reviewed once more for the duration of 40 days with the option to ratify or request a review of the offer.
