PokerStars Casino has announced an exciting new multi-year partnership with Play’n GO, who will supply its entire portfolio of casino games within the PokerStars Casino platform. The platform is a relative newcomer to the iGaming scene and the arrangement with Play’n GO is geared towards improving the selection of state-of-the-art video slots that will be playable online from this summer onwards. The slots have been made available on the site’s .com, .eu and .co.uk domains, with plans afoot to roll out the new range of slots to .it, .es and .dk customers by Q3 2018. The brand generated a lot of publicity this summer following its £100 million challenge, which was offered to anyone that could guess the correct outcome of every single fixture at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Of course, PokerStars is better-known for its status as the world’s largest online poker room, with an unrivalled choice of real money tournaments, cash games and the world-famous Sunday Million event. However, the brand is keen ramp up casino revenues, so integration with third-party suppliers such as Play’n GO will certainly go a long way to enticing more customers to stick around. According to Johan Tornqvist, chief executive of Play’n GO, its online slot titles are “certified across more than 15 countries” and the studio is fast becoming the “supplier of choice to operators in regulated territories”.

Who are Play’n GO?

Play’n GO have been in existence since 1997, operating out of the Swedish city of Vaxjo. The brand has gone from strength to strength since working as sub-contractors to another, larger iGaming software developer. However, in 2004 the studio was able to stand on its own two feet and began developing bespoke iGaming titles for highly reputable online casino brands. The brand has since achieved its Remote Gambling Software License from the UK Gambling Commission. This has enabled the studio to partner with many regulated and trustworthy iGaming brands serving players in the UK. Consequently, Play’n GO has sought to continually evolve and innovate with the latest technologies and meet the ever-changing demands of the iGaming industry’s demographic. The advent of responsive mobile gaming saw the studio adopt HTML5 technology to make its video slots accessible to almost all smartphone and tablet devices. They are also well-versed in the development of bespoke mini-games and widgets, which have appeased casual gamers worldwide in recent years. Arguably the studio’s biggest and best innovation to date is its exclusive OMNY technology, which has been widely recognised as one of the best omni-channel iGaming tools at trade shows around the world. This pioneering software enables land-based, online and hybrid casino operators to allow their customers to maintain and transfer game progress between land-based and digital devices by giving each customer a dedicated user profile. Play’n GO also offers a fully scalable Game Account Toolkit (GAT) that iGaming brands can adopt for their customers. Its single wallet solutions provide a top-level overview of each player’s data and activity on-site. The GAT is also capable of being integrated with state-of-the-art iGaming software developed by other pioneering studios such as Microgaming, NetEnt and Evolution Gaming.

Have you tried Stars Mega Spin?

As part of PokerStars Casino’s bid to cement itself in the iGaming space, its in-house development team unveiled only its second online slot, featuring a raft of in-game features and bonuses. Following the success of ‘Millionaire’s Island’ at the beginning of 2017, the new ‘Stars Mega Spin’ has been combined with the former to offer a million-dollar progressive jackpot. In doing so, PokerStars Casino has become the only iGaming brand to offer such prizes in games played only by players on their platform.

Since the beginning of 2017 when the site launched Millionaire’s Island, PokerStars Casino has paid out more than $28.4 million in progressive jackpot winnings, with the biggest being a $3.3 million win on the Mega Fortune slot. Their regular customers can benefit from the chance to buy instant free spins bonuses on the likes of Millionaire’s Island and Stars Mega Spin. With the StarsCoins – generated from every real money spin played – it’s possible to buy up to 500 free spins, giving players a great opportunity to trigger the life-changing progressive jackpot.
